When her grandmother Mimi falls ill, Australian-born Shanghai high-flyer Erin returns home to nurse Mimi and save her failing vintage dress shop. Erin discovers each dress comes with a Secret Life, the story of the dresses’ previous life. What Erin doesn’t know is that rescuing the dresses and Secret Lives will allow her to create a whole new future as dazzling as one of Mimi’s vintage gowns.
