I am an award-winning Australian film and television director and a graduate of the Master of Arts directing program at AFTRS. My graduation film MILK had a long international festival run and was selected for La Cinefondation competition at Cannes Film Festival. After film school, I spent several years directing award-winning television commercials and music videos, including SUNDAY BEST for Australian singer-songwriter WASHINGTON, which won the Triple J Best Australian Music Video Award in 2010. In 2017 I directed the first Stan Originals feature film, a psychological thriller starring Rachael Blake, Susie Porter and Vince Colosimo. THE SECOND was released in cinemas and on Stan in 2018, and nominated for AACTA, Logie and SPAA awards. Following the success of THE SECOND, I directed three episodes over two seasons of Hoodlum’s procedural drama series HARROW, and more recently, a block of CJZ and ABC’s DARBY AND JOAN with Bryan Brown and Greta Scacchi. I have a slate of long-form projects in development including AGE OF CHAOS with producers Daria Jovicic and Trish Lake, set to shoot on location in Malta this year, and a feature film adaptation of US novel THE SECRET LIVES OF DRESSES. Although my passion is directing, I am also committed to supporting the emerging generation of cinematic storytelling voices as an educator and mentor. I am currently the Queensland Chapter Head for the Australian Director’s Guild.
